Intended Use
It is indicated for patients with PICC line, fracture, plaster or bandage immobilization, or after various of trauma, to protect it from getting wet during a shower or a bath. The produc should not come into direct contact with the open wound.
Description
It is mainly composed of elastic sealing and waterproof sleeve. The sealing is made of silica gel and sleeve is made of PVC or TPU film.
How to Use
1- Open the packaging and take out the product.
Check that the case you have chosen, the instructions and the storage bag are included.
2. Stretch the elastic seal of the opening, slowly insert the affected limb into the waterproof cover, avoiding touching the affected area.
3. When the injured limb is fully inserted into the sleeve, allow the elastic seal to re-establish itself naturally, adjust the edge of the opening to ensure a tight seal.
4. Before wetting the cover, make sure, in case of a wound, that it is well bandaged.
Cautions
- The product is NOT sterile, do not apply over open wounds.
- Do not wear the product for strenuous exercise.
- When wearing on lower limbs, remain seated always or get help from others in case of slipping during showering.
- After each use, it is recommended to clean the outer surface with a soft cloth, dampened with a mild, nonabrasive detergent or isopropul alcojol and then let it air dry.
- Use only for shower purpose, soak the product in water is not recommended. Shower time with the product on should be within 20 minutes.
- Consult your doctor if elastic sealing causes discomfort or swelling.
- Prevent children from misuse, product may cause suffocation.
- Do not use if product is damaged.
Other indications
Storage. Store in a cool dry place, do not exposed to direct sunlight, avoid the heat source and humidity.
